Harvard University is one of the most liberal /left-leaning universities around.

Even so a big study came out from there in 2017. They counted up news articles and TV news and found that in the first 100 days of Trump's presidency the major news media were up to 93% negative on Trump.1

“So how was President Obama covered in his first 100 days? With a 60-40 positive to negative ratio, according to the Harvard study.”1


 


 


Even Fox News, which was sometimes considered far right, was only 48% positive on Trump. (They have recently swung decidedly left.)

This 90% negative coverage continued in 2018.2

Another study done in 2020 found essentially the same thing.3
