Most people know that the news media is not trustworthy. They do not know the full extent of it.

Democrats are not the enemy. Most Democrats are good people who want what is best for their family, their career, their community, state, and the USA. Republicans are not the enemy. Most Republicans are good people who want what is best for their family, their career, their community, state, and the USA. Many political leaders are people of good intentions. A few are self-serving, untrustworthy, and create more problems than they solve. This applies to politicians of any party.

I however have very little patience for the main news media in this country. I hope to effectively show that accurate statements of something that occurred or that exists (“Truth”) is the exception, not the normal, when they present it. I promise the examples will be very solid and may be quite startling to you, and I hope, useful.

My purpose here is to show that the public is NOT being given true and relevant facts by these media, by using specific and important examples, and do so in short articles, with references that you can check. And of course to show the truth of each matter.

For now I am going to concentrate on the past four+ years of the Trump administration (2016-2021), with an emphasis on what is current. Finding true facts about Trump and about Biden, as opposed to opinions, is actually as easy as shooting fish in a barrel -- if you know where to look, and you can rise above the tendency to agree because of emotion. Just because I'd like something to be true does not make it so.

 

My Promise

I will attempt to:

Never present opinion as fact.

Support statements with links or references to original source materials as much as possible.

Not stoop to name-calling.

Only generalize about something or someone if there is a sufficient quantity of facts to support it.

To label opinions as such.

To label proposals or theories as such.

To correct significant factual errors that I may make.

Based on the above, I guess I would make a lousy journalist of today.
